January 20, 2024 – EMC 2023 Awards & 2024 Kick-Off / Florence MS – The EMC will be meeting At Barry’s Seafood at 11:30 am for our annual Business Meeting and Awards Banquet.  Berry’s is located at 2942 US 49 in Florence, MS. We will be discussing future events for 2024.  Your input is requested.  We are always looking for someone to lead a drive along the roads less traveled to some out of the way place for lunch. Additionally, there will be awards!  An award can be given to anyone for anything. Of course, there are the perpetual awards.  For those who have a perpetual award, we will see who gets them next.  The EMC’s Eager Beaver will be looking for a new home, so it’s recommended that you are present to ensure The Beav goes to a deserving new home. February 17, 2024 – EMC Tech Session / Vicksburg MS  The EMC will continue into 2024 with a tech visit to the garage of Pat and Barbara Cashman. Pat will check around for a project or two, we’ll eat some good food and share some time together. This party’s always fun. Bring a dish and join the wrenching at 11:00am and lunch at 12:00pm. March 16, 2024 – EMC Tops Down /Florence MS – Revision: With rain in the forecast Saturday, March 16th Tops Down will be held at Logan Rivers Smoke House in Florence MS: https://www.smokehouseofflorence.com.  The address is  3091 Highway 49 S, Suite A, Florence MS. March 23, 2024 – New Orleans British Motoring Festival / Covington LA – Get your registration in early for the 32nd Annual BMCNO British Motoring Festival. The EMC will join the BMCNO in the celebration of all things British. For 2024 there will be a new show site in Covington LA. The EMC hopes for a good member turn out to enjoy the celebration with our friends in Louisiana. Watch their website and click on the calendar for show details: www.bmcno.org.

April 13, 2024 – Drive to Cotesworth / Carrollton MS – The Mississippi Classic Cruisers have set out a route to drive to Cotesworth Mansion. What’s there? How about a pre-civil war mansion and film location for The Help and The Sound and Fury. Departure location will be Kroger at Hwy 51 in Madison. Departure time will be 8:00am. April 18-21, 2024 – MG GOF South LVIII / Crystal River FL – GOF-South 2024 welcomes all MG cars from the Marque’s production conception in the Abingdon Works, a few Later Models, and nominated Classic Variants.  Details: www.classicmgclub.com/gofsouth2024

April 18 – 21, 2024 –The Natchez Concours d’Elegance / Natchez MS – 2nd Annual Natchez Concours d’Elegance. Show date is Saturday April 20 with awards presentations that evening at Stanton Hall. April 19-20, 2024 – Brits on the Bay / Pensacola FL – For the 29th annual show the Panhandle British Car Association will fill the field with friends, fun and automobiles on Saturday and the Friday night reception is one that you don’t want to miss. Make plans early. Details: www.pbca1.com

April 21 – 24, 2024 – NAMGBR 2024 100 Years of MG / Katy Texas – Make your plans early to attend the 2024 North American MGB Registers annual gathering. This year the meeting will be in the Lone Star State. If you’re follower of the marque and you’ve not made a NAMGBR event this is the upcoming event for you. Make plans early. May 18, 2024 – EMC McLaren Weekend / Braxton MS – I’m sure we’ll find some interesting roads on our way down to the beautiful burg of Braxton. June 15 – 21, 2024 Triumph Register of America National Meet / Perrysville OH – A bit of a ride for those from the Deep South however if you’ve never made a national TR event make your plans early to attend the 50th anniversary. July 20, 2024 – EMC Gathering / Clinton MS -Will and Jennifer Duncan have a great view of Lake Merganser out behind their house and would like to share it with the EMC on a date where the great out of doors can be enjoyed. August 17, 2024 – EMC Gathering and Food Tour / Brandon MS  Roy Schooler has offered his home for our August 17, 2024 EMC gathering. September 20 – 21, 2024 – EMC Brits on the Bluff / Natchez MS – We have the promise of a perfect weekend for the 27thShow Annual BOTB. October 4 – 5, 2024 – Renaissance Euro Fest Car Show / Ridgeland MS – Come to Ridgeland Mississippi and enjoy the 16th Annual Renaissance Car Fest. The 2023 event was one to remember. Lots of participation from EMC members as well as friends from surrounding clubs will be the order again for 2024. When posted get your entry in early and make plans to attend. Dates TBA), 2024 – Nashville British Car Show / Nashville TN – If you’re looking for a nice drive up the Natchez Trace there’s no better reason than to attend the 29th Annual Nashville British Car Club Show. October 25 – 26, 2024 – Scarecrow Cruise & Car Show / Madison MS – Looking for a great weekend auto activity? This local show is in its 20th year and sponsored by the Mississippi Classic Cruisers. October 18 – 19, 2024 – South Alabama British Car Festival / Fairhope AL – It’s a nice drive down to the fair community of Fairhope AL so join the caravan to the lovely city by Mobile Bay. November 2, 2024 – EMC Drive to the Soule’ Live Steam Festival / Meridian MS – Been a couple of years since the EMC has traveled over to the Queen City to visit the Mississippi Industrial Heritage Museum during the Soule’ Steam Festival so by popular demand we’ve inserted the Steam Fest into the calendar for 2024.  There will be a street car show and contacts with the organizers have indicated there will be more room available for parking this year. Soooo…if you’re interested in a nice fall drive make plans. Departure time will be 9:00am from the Cracker Barrel at 410 Riverwind Dr. Pearl MS. December 7, 2024 – EMC Holiday Party / Florence MS – The EMC members and friends will gather at Logan Rivers Smokehouse (3091 US 49, Suite A, Florence MS, 601-845-0702) for the 2024 holiday party.
