January 18, 2025 – EMC 2024 Awards & 2025 Kick-Off / Florence MS – The EMC will be meeting At Barry’s Seafood at 11:00 am for our annual Business Meeting and Awards Banquet. Berry’s is located at 2942 US 49 in Florence, MS. We will be discussing future events for 2025. Your input is requested. We are always looking for someone to lead a drive along the roads less traveled to some out of the way place for lunch. Additionally, there will be awards! An award can be given to anyone for anything. Of course, there are perpetual awards. For those who have a perpetual award, we will see who gets them next. The EMC’s Eager Beaver will be looking for a new home, so it’s recommended that you are present to ensure The Beav goes to a deserving new home. February 15, 2025 – EMC Tech Session / Vicksburg MS – The EMC will continue into 2025 with a tech visit to the garage of Pat and Barbara Cashman. Remember, it’s a large unheated garage so don’t put away your long handles just yet! Pat will check around for a project or two, we’ll eat some good food and share some time together. March 15, 2025 – EMC Tops Down / Rocky Spring MS – For 2025 the EMC will be meet at Rocky Springs MS on the Natchez Trace with the hope of an early spring and a celebration of St. Patrick’s Day (March 17, 2025) so you might consider wearing a wee bit of green to avoid a pinch. Bring a dish and enjoy the afternoon with the EMC family and friends. Those leaving from the Jackson area will depart from the Clinton MS Visitors Center (on the Natchez Trace) at 10:00am. March 29, 2025 – New Orleans British Motoring Festival / Covington LA – Get your registration in early for the 33rd Annual BMCNO British Motoring Festival. The EMC will join the BMCNO in the celebration of all things British. Following a great inaugural show in Covington LA the show will return to the downtown area for 2025. The EMC hopes for a good member turn out to enjoy the celebration with our friends in Louisiana. Watch their website and click on the calendar for show details: www.bmcno.org.
April 10 – 12, 2025 –The Natchez Concours d’Elegance / Natchez MS – The 3rd Annual Natchez Concours d’Elegance. The show date is Saturday April 12 with awards presentations that evening at Stanton Hall but there are several activities planned beginning on Thursday the 10th.. Open to all Rolls Royce and Bentley’s, all British and European cars and cycles over 20 years old and all ages of European “Exotic” cars. Meet Hotel / The Natchez Grand Hotel. April 11 – 12, 2025 – Brits on the Bay / Pensacola FL – For the 30th annual show the Panhandle British Car Association will fill the field with friends, fun and automobiles on Saturday and the Friday night reception is one that you don’t want to miss. Make plans early. Details: www.pbca1.com
April 24 – 27, 2025 – MG GOF South / Gainesville FL – GOF-South 2025 welcomes all MG cars from the Marque’s production conception in the Abingdon Works. A few later models and nominated classic variants will be present. Details: https://www.gofsouth.club
May 17, 2025 – EMC McLaren Weekend / Braxton MS – I’m sure we’ll find some interesting roads on our way down to the beautiful burg of Braxton. June 16 – 20, 2025 Triumph Register of America National Meet / Kalamazoo MI – A bit of a ride for those from the Deep South however if you’ve never made a national TR event make your plans early to attend the 51st anniversary. June 27 – 28, 2025 – Brits at the Post / The Greater Ozarks British Motoring Club / Springfield MO – The 23rd annual Brits at the Post is now scheduled. July 15 – 18, 2024 – Vintage Triumph Register / North American Triumph Challenge / La Crosse WI – If you’re looking for a national convention to attend in support of the Triumph marque this one is right down your alley. July 19, 2025 – EMC Gathering / Clinton MS – Will and Jennifer Duncan have a great view of Lake Merganser out behind their house and would like to share it with the EMC on a date where the great out of doors can be enjoyed. July 28 – 31, 2025 – NAMGBR 2025 / Crystal Lake IL – Make your plans early to attend the 2025 North American MGB Registers annual gathering. This year the gathering is expected to be a big one hosted by the nearby Chicagoland MG Club. If you’re a follower of the marque and you’ve not made a NAMGBR event this is the upcoming event for you. August 16, 2025 – EMC Gathering and Food Tour / Brandon MS – OPEN DATE! Have an idea, place or event that you’d like to host during 2025! Please contact one of the club officers to discuss. This would be the gathering prior to the EMC’s Brits on the Bluff ’25.
September (Dates TBA), 2025 – Brits in the Ozarks / Fayetteville AR – Still looking for excuses for a mountain drive? Here’s another chance to see the Ozarks in all of their colors and have a car show at the end of your drive. The 23rd Annual Brits in the Ozarks will be there waiting for you. September 19 – 20, 2025 – EMC Brits on the Bluff / Natchez MS – We have the promise of a perfect weekend for the 28thShow Annual BOTB. Hang out on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River starting with our Friday night party and spend Saturday with us overlooking the Mississippi River. October 3 – 4, 2025 – Renaissance Euro Fest Car Show / Ridgeland MS – Come to Ridgeland Mississippi and enjoy the 17th Annual Renaissance Car Fest. The 2024 event was one to remember. Lots of participation from EMC members as well as friends from surrounding clubs will be the order again for 2025. When posted get your entry in early and make plans to attend. Dates TBA), 2025 – Nashville All British Car Show / Nashville TN – If you’re looking for a nice drive up the Natchez Trace there’s no better reason than to attend the 31th Annual Nashville British Car Club Show. October 17 – 18, 2025 – South Alabama British Car Festival / Fairhope – It’s a nice drive down to the fair community of Fairhope AL so join the caravan to the lovely city by Mobile Bay. November 1, 2025 – EMC Chili Bowl Tech / Ridgeland MS – Yep, it’s back on the calendar for 2025. We’ll have the chili on the stove and a wrench ready for stirring.
